Cold Weather Kit Testing
Team Adventure USA vans come with a cold weather kit to allow using our vans in four seasons. We are taking advantage of our cold weather here in Iowa to test the system in extreme cold weather - currently -5 F with windchill of -30 F. With display showing the actual temperature of the critical under van areas it is easy to monitor for testing and in real world use.

Our 144 4x4 van has the power to go the distance with six Battle Born Batteries 100 amp hour batteries. How to fit these in the van without taking up critical cargo space? Easy - we mount the spare tire on one of our spare tire racks and use the space under the van for an aluminum, insulated, and heated enclosure custom made in our shop. Built to be weather resistant to provide long term care free reliable with exterior mounted lithium batteries collecting power from dual alternators, or captured through the sun’s rays on the roof mounted solar panels.

KNOWING your cold weather kit is working is also important. Our 144 4x4 van has digital gauges displaying temperatures to confirm 'ALL GOOD' when the cold weather arrives.
